How can Feedbackmonster help you?

The idea about Feedbackmonster originated in Interlaken. The region has a number of great as well as mediocre restaurants, hotels or establishments. Many of them have since become customers of ours–you can find a sample list HERE (link). Experienced restaurateurs value our system because it is easy and efficient to use. Once set up, it requires little to no work, and effectively improves your presence on the particular rating portal.

Why am I doing this?

The hospitality industry was already my second home when I could barely look over the counter. My parents owned a restaurant, where I spent a great deal of my childhood. I quickly learned that you can never please all customers because their needs are simply too diverse. And then, of course, there are always those who complain just because. This remained a common theme during my career. Everything always revolved around service, consulting, and how I can best satisfy the customer. This activated my problem-solving gene, and I developed a number of strategies.

Understanding how things are related, and reconciling the customer’s needs with those of the service provider–that’s my specialty. By the way, I personally am a fan of reviews. Regardless of what my family needs: I diligently study the online reviews in advance. With this approach, we have discovered real gems that we would never have come across otherwise. This is what makes reviews so valuable–for service providers, as well as for the customers.

What irks me is when people deliberately post poor reviews that are not even true. Or when companies buy reviews illegally. At the same time, while it may be irritating initially if a customer feels that the service was poor and rates your business accordingly, this offers a tremendous opportunity to look at the matter from the customer’s perspective and, if necessary, optimize processes.
